Mr Nadeem Mushtaq is head of Foot & Ankle Trauma at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, one of four major trauma centres in London. He is a fellowship trained Trauma & Orthopaedic Consultant, specialising in all disorders of the foot and ankle, as well as complex trauma.
He qualified from St. George’s Hospital, London in 1996 before completed his senior training on the Guy's & King’s College rotation. During this time he also undertook research at Brighton University, obtaining a Masters Degree in Orthopaedics. He completed his postgraduate surgical training in 2012, and then undertook a fellowship in Foot & Ankle surgery.
Mr Mushtaq has presented at orthopaedic meetings both nationally and internationally. He is well-published, undertaking research in orthopaedic surgery and both writing and editing textbooks in the field. He is passionate about teaching and leads the Imperial Surgical Innovations MSc.
Mr Mushtaq was appointed to Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in 2013 as a Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery, with a specialist interest in Foot & Ankle surgery. He has also previously held consultant posts at Guy’s Hospital, London & Basildon Hospital, Essex.
His NHS practice remains across two prestigious Central London hospitals – St. Mary's and Charing Cross. He also works in a variety of private hospitals, he has now joined the Cleveland Clinic London - one of the worlds top ranking hospitals to provide enhanced healthcare services and exceptional care to his patients.
